I am Nathalie LEFEVRE, known as TALY, a painter in the Haut Languedoc regional park. I live in the south of France, in a small tourist village north of Béziers.
The ‘natural’ environment in which I've lived for over 20 years inspires my creations.
I paint on a variety of supports: wooden frames, cotton or linen canvases, using acrylics and oils. I also use oil pastel, charcoal and walnut stain.
Mes inspirations et créations artistiques évoluent à travers le temps. J’observe, je m’inspire, je ressens, je reproduis. Autodidacte, dans mes peintures, j’ai ensuite approfondi mes acquis en prenant des cours dans l'atelier du 56 à Toulouse.
I copied canvases by great painters, using acrylic paint in A3 format, such as Picasso, Magritte, Van Gogh, Levy-Dhurmer, Matisse and Dali.
Copying is an apprenticeship, a study of a painting. It inspires us and improves our work. It's an artistic education.
